BURNT ASH DRAMA ASSOC.
Burnt Ash Drama Association has been presenting challenging drama for over 40 years and is based at St Andrew’s Hall, Burnt Ash Lane, Bromley. On average, Burnt Ash Drama Association (or BADA for short) stages three productions a year, generally in April, June and October. BADA normally rehearses on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday evenings in St Andrew’s Hall over an eight-week period, leading up to performances on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday of production week.
BADA regularly takes part in the Bromley Theatre Guild’s Full-Length Play Festival and has won many awards in this prestigious event.
Since 1988, BADA has developed close connections with the Teatro Salon Varietes in Fuengirola, on the Costa Del Sol, Spain and six visits have taken place to perform to its British expatriate audience. Members combine holiday with rehearsals and performances and are looking forward to another tour in 2008.
Membership enquiries are welcome from anyone wishing to be involved in a group that takes its activities seriously yet enjoys relaxing in the local hostelry, The Prince Frederick, in Nichol Lane, Bromley.
