BROMLEY LITTLE THEATRE

Bromley Little Theatre has been presenting plays at its North Street premises for over sixty years.  Its aims throughout that time have remained the same: to present exciting live theatre to its members at reasonable cost.  We aim to present a season of plays to meet all tastes, whether for comedy, drama, thrillers, the classics, new plays or the occasional musical.  The only criterion is that they should be good of their kind and well produced and presented.  Each play runs for eight nights beginning on a Friday but excluding Sundays. 

BLT is a private theatre club run by and for its members who by virtue of paying a modest annual subscription have access to the theatre’s facilities.  These include purchase of tickets for shows for themselves and guests and drinks from the fully licensed bar.  Members can participate in productions as well as meeting like-minded friendly people.  Management is in the hands of a board of directors one of whom is appointed each year by The Playgoers Club to which members automatically belong.  The Playgoers Club is responsible for administering and running the membership system and communicating with members through Spotlights, the regular newsletter and running the box office, bars and social events during the year.  A committee nominated by the members runs the club.  Newcomers, with or without experience are always welcome as actors, stage staff, set builders, designers, technicians or front of house management
