There's nothing to put in this bit until I get out there and spend some time getting folk to advertise to us all, so for now, a puff for the BTG Forum attached to this website.

Aside from all the chat, and gossip, and the peculiar jokes that seem to circulate in some offices, I really hope that people from all our associated societies will let us know if they have anything useful around the place. Some societies are well off for furniture, some are good for military uniforms, some have lights they are happy to hire out.

Pop in and tell us about it. If you have any good period props that other groups have been tearing their hair out over, post it here.

If all this two-fingered typing achieves nothing else, I really hope to convince everyone that our societies are not in competition with each other; we're all in this together, and together, we're stronger.

Regards,

Tim.

What I'd like to do with this page is to start a list of any companies or firms or individuals that any of you have used, and that could come in useful to the rest of us. I'm thinking of suppliers of paint or set-building materials or costume hire, or printing services, or even, just for the sake of argument, photography. Anything that helps us do what we do, let us know, and we'll be after them for a bit of sponsorship in return for advertising them to all our societies.

Down here I will list all the Web based resources that would make our lives easier, including such folk as the Internet Bookshop, and online suppliers. In fact anybody we might be able to screw a couple of pennies out of in return for directing a nice bit of targeted demographic their way.
